A secure and space-saving lockup for allotment to established gardeners.
Designed with a partnership with Fiskars in mind, especially the QuikFit Multi-head Tool System. Allowing for a more compact and space-saving design solution.
prototyping
Modelling was a crucial stage for the development of the project and provided a baseline for the mechanism and hinge movement.
Though quick paper models and iterations it became clear which concepts were closer to the brief and what could be developed further.

To be used in areas of little space to improve space efficiency mainly in community gardening locations like allotments.
This would free up floor space that could then be used to grow more vegetables/plants and would also increase the desire and need for trees to be in close proximity, therefore leading to more balanced system in these areas. With trees reducing soil erosion and providing protection from winds. However trees would restrict light so posts may be a more suitable attachment.
